Can you move a grand piano, antiques or large artwork?
Yes. Bayside homes hold a lot of precious and oversized pieces, and pianos, antiques, mirrors and large framed art are a normal day for us. Tell us what you have, ideally with a photo, and we will crate and crew for it properly.
How do you handle a no-lift deco apartment in Elwood?
Most of Elwood’s beautiful 1930s walk-ups have no lift, so the staircase and a tight beachside street are the whole job. We size the crew and the truck to the stair and the street, and we scout the loading spot before the day.
Do I need a parking permit to move on the bayside?
It depends on the council and the street. We park legally and time the truck around the busy Beach Road and foreshore strips, and where a works or removalist parking permit helps near a shopping strip we will tell you. The real question here is usually the carry and the stairs, not the bay.
How far ahead should I book?
The earlier the better, especially around month-end and weekends. A week or two usually secures your preferred date, but get in touch even at short notice and we will do our best to fit you in.
